저는 지난 20여 년간 전남대학교와 성신여대에서 후학을 양성하고,
70회 이상의 전시와 다수의 공공 조형물 프로젝트를 수행하며 '소통하는 예술'을 지향해 온 조각가 이형영입니다.
제 작업의 근간은 자연의 구조적인 아름다움입니다.
특히 빛의 순환을 모티브로 한 ‘Sunrise & Sunset’ 시리즈는
조각이 놓인 공간에 긍정적인 에너지와 생동감을 부여합니다.
서울 열린송현녹지광장에서의 야외 조각전부터 아파트 단지의 조형물에 이르기까지,
저의 작품은 일상의 공간을 예술적 사유의 장으로 변화시키는 데 목적을 둡니다.

Breathing Life into Space, Adding Art to Everyday Life
Hello, I am sculptor Lee Hyeong Yeong.
Sculpture should be more than just an object to be admired; it must be a medium that connects space and people.
For over 20 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching students at Chonnam National University and Sungshin Women's University. As a sculptor, I have pursued "Communicating Art" through over 70 exhibitions and numerous public sculpture projects.
The foundation of my work lies in the structural beauty of nature. My ‘Sunrise & Sunset’ series, in particular, is motivated by the cycle of light, imparting positive energy and vitality to the space where the sculpture stands.
From the outdoor sculpture exhibition at Songhyeon Green Plaza in Seoul to sculptures in apartment complexes, my work aims to transform everyday spaces into sites of artistic contemplation.
